It was a super busy month for me in October with my motion graphics "day job." As such, I continued to rely on never-published mostly-finished artwork in From the Dust #5 for new storyboard pages. We've now used up all of this ready-made artwork so I will be logging more hours in November or we won't have a 7 page delivery in December.
We had another 50% drop in hits to the website. Also not surprising since the website hasn't been updated with all the content that Patrons have helped me create. I have yet to figure out how to do this effectively. Do I publish storyboard pages as they are finished? Do I wait and publish it all at once? No idea yet. I really should figure it out. If you have an opinion ... send it to me. Right now the plan is to publish it all at once, but the website promises monthly updates so those things are currently not in harmony. I also spent $0 on ads this month and posted nothing to social media so I'm not surprised by the decrease in visitors.
October was not my best month for hours. Only 12 hours dedicated to From the Dust that was to wrap the October 2 delivery. Technically none of the work I delivered on Nov 4 was completed in Oct. Also, you may notice I worked on a Sunday. I am trying really hard to get my schedule under control so that never happens again.
Dollar amounts are used for reference purposes only. I guarantee one hour spent on production for every $25 Patrons provide.
